Device’s principle
This device is for the method for making soft water by having positive and negative ion such as Ca, Mg and others which are the hardness substances in the raw water discharge the Na type resin layer merely once. As for the resin regeneration, recycle with 10% NaCI solution.

Softening response
R(-SO3Na)2 + Ca(HCO3)2→R(-SO3)2 Ca + 2NaHCO3
R(-SO3Na)2 + MgSO4→R(-SO3)2 + Mg
Regeneration response
R(-SO3)2 Ca+ 2HCl→R(-SO3H)2 + CaCl2
R(-SO3)2 Ca+ Mg→R(-SO3H)2 + MgCl2
